We received our report just prior to the start of the pandemic. We had already been doing “homework” before receiving the report and things had improved. I was very hesitant to start anything further during such a stressful and anxiety-filled time as the baby crying was a huge trigger for me to begin with. I eventually decided to go ahead with it though since it was a rare time where we didn’t have our normal obligations and could solely focus on implementing his sleep plan. Having a plan that outlined exactly what we were supposed to do (and email assistance almost daily) made things much easier than I was expecting! Not having visitors right now and going to different play groups has made it a much smoother transition into having a new nap/sleep routine. We are very happy we decided to go ahead with this at this time.
When we made the appointment with Karen for Ava-Grace’s sleep consultation, we never thought we’d be where we are these days. We were worried about how to implement the sleep plan juggling between work, home and baby sitter. How about the sleepless nights and how we are going to have any energy at all the next day to do anything. And then, all of a sudden, those worries were forced to turn into newer versions very fast - with everyone staying home and no babysitter, how do we work together as a family to push through her sleep training while staying sane.
To us, those worries quickly went away. Karen’s professional knowledge and extremely helpful, timely support was second to none. The pandemic, in a positive way, provided a solid ground to build and maintain consistency since we are staying home which means no running around for work and other things. With this blessing in disguise (look on the positive side), we were able to build a consistent schedule for Ava-Grace and that really excelled her making her sleep habits better.
Ava-Grace started showing very positive results very soon after we implemented her sleep plan. We all had to keep our communication open and candid especially when all other stresses in life are running higher.
I cannot thank Jennifer Garden enough for all her help and guidance. I was in a bit of a dark place dealing with PPD and the exhaustion of little to no sleep. I knew I needed to help my daughter learn to fall asleep on her own so that we could all get more sleep, but I lacked the confidence to implement a plan. I had read many books and talked to lots of other moms, but the information just seemed too overwhelming and confusing.
Jennifer was so easy to talk to with her patient and genuine demeanor. She had a wealth of knowledge and was up-to-date with research based best practices. I was able to trust her right away with our sleep struggles.

On behalf of my husband, myself and our daughters, I wanted to send a huge shout out to Jennifer and the team at Sleepdreams. We had been struggling for a couple of months with a major sleep regression in our newly turned one-year-old. The nights were getting longer and longer and we were constantly finding that she needed to be fed to sleep, held for most of the (and sometimes even the entire) night, and she would wake and feed so often that it was affecting her appetite during the day. Jennifer came out to our home and we had a wonderful visit and meeting; she learned so much about our daughter and our family, observed her personality and level of activity, met our older daughter, and took some time to check out our nursery setup and provide feedback. She then produced a very detailed report that was comprehensive, thoughtful, and fully customized! She also provided a number of resources to help with our daughter’s eating habits and to help prepare us for the official retraining period! We chose to sleep train our daughter leading into a really good time for our family to be grounded and at home, and with a month into the new routine now complete, we are thrilled with the result! We put our one-year-old down awake after her routine, rub her back for 10-15 seconds, gently tell her it is bedtime and we will be right outside, and without any fussing, she goes to sleep! Equally awesome, we don’t hear from her until morning! And now, because we have things under control with her sleep, we are seeing a much bigger interest in food and our entire family is happier and better rested. We were getting tight for date nights because our daughter’s sleep schedule was so out of whack and we were completely exhausted and irritable, but now we have our evenings back and are enjoying lots of couple time after the girls go to sleep and even some fun outings that have our babysitters thrilled at how easy bedtime is at our house again. Thank you Jennifer and Sleepdreams. We could not have done it without your support! And it is truly life changing when your baby sleeps!
"Courtney has been really helpful in getting our son sleep trained. She was quick to respond and we like her gentle style of sleep training method as we didn't want to let our son cry it out. The process was gradual but it worked well for us and my son later on transitioned to daycare without no issues in napping at all. He napped really well at daycare right from day one and I attributed it to the sleep training program that Courtney came up with for us.

"I just wanted to share a quick update with you regarding Torin and his sleep, since Karen's help a couple of months ago. The sleep consulting helped tremendously, since the third night of progressive wait Torin has been sleeping through the night pretty consistently. As would be expected, there have been a few bumps in the road, as I'm sure there will continue to be, but most nights he sleeps from 6:30pm - 6:30am. It's really amazing to see the progress that can be made with a few simple changes.His naps have come together well too, and are really quite consistent. Allison and Ted had twins a few years ago. They were concerned about their sleep and were rocking and soothing them to sleep. They wanted an paediatric assessments to ensure there weren’t any underlying causes for the twins’ sleep disturbances and a gentle plan to get them on track. Parveen was rocking and feeding her son to sleep. She wanted to ensure that she was meeting her son’s nutritional needs as mentored by a paediatric health care professional and develop a plan which wasn’t ‘cry it out’. Here’s what she said about our services: "I don't know where to start. We first met Jennifer when Tristan was 4.5 months old. We wanted to find someone who didn't use the CRY it out method. My husband and I were exhausted. We were rocking him to sleep and then he would wake up at least 2-3 times at night. The most difficult part was when he did wake up in the middle of the night it would take up to 2 hrs to get him to stop crying. We would give in and give him the bottle to soothe on to stop him from crying. Regarding his naps we would end up rocking him up to 30 mins and then find he would get up 15 mins later. He was rolling when he was nine weeks, crawling when he was 5 months and walking when he was 7 months- all these milestones took a toll on his sleep. BUT Jen helped us so much, we got past all these hurdles of him being an active child. It only took up 3 days to get him to self soothe and sleep thru the night. Well now my son is a happy healthy 9 month old. He sleeps roughly 11 hrs at night. Goes to bed between 7-7:30pm and gets up between 6-7 am (we have to wake him up sometimes) lol. He takes 2 naps usually a 2 hr in the morning and 1.5 hrs in the afternoon. The best part of this sleep therapy is that it was covered by my extended insurance. I would recommend Jen to anyone who needs a little sleep for themselves and their baby:)." Parveen
Kristina called us for help with her son. He had to be nursed to sleep and would wake frequently at night. Naps were a problem too. Here’s what she has to say about our services: "Before we contacted Jennifer, our son Connor would not fall asleep at night without being nursed to sleep. He would then awake every 3 hours in the night and needed to be nursed to fall back asleep. For his daytime naps he would only nap in his stroller and had to always be moving for the entire nap, if we stopped he would wake. After Jennifer came into our home to assess Connor and his surroundings, we were given a very comprehensive and tailor-made sleep training program for Connor. She also included a very helpful feeding and sleep schedule and several useful recommendations. We literally saw results the first night –- it was amazing how quickly he seemed adjust. After training, Connor puts himself to sleep within minutes in the crib (with absolutely no help from us!) At night, he is sleeping for at least 11 hours and quickly puts himself back to sleep if necessary. "Before contacting Sleep Dreams I had spoken to a couple different sleep consultants. Both of which had the same cookie cutter philosophy which was basically "let them cry it out". I knew this method of sleep training wouldn't be the answer to the sleep problems we were having with our twins. Then I spoke to Jennifer and I immediately knew she was the answer we had been looking for. With her customized sleep plan, knowledge and support we were able to quite easily and quickly get our twins on the same sleep schedule without letting them cry it out.
