Karen Randall, mother of two, graduated from UBC as an Occupational Therapist in 2000 and is registered in BC & Alberta. Since graduating from UBC, Karen has practiced in both hospital and community settings. She has worked at the Royal Columbian Hospital with infants in the Neonatal ICU and with adults in Acute Medicine. She has also worked in a community based centre for early intervention with children from birth to 3 years of age. Her professional interests lie in feeding and swallowing and neurodevelopment. She is also a Certified Breastfeeding Counsellor. Karen enjoys the ability to work with the whole family and values the opportunity to help parents and children reach their own goals and maximize their participation and success in everyday life activities.

Courtney Hall, mother of two very active boys. She graduated from Thompson Rivers University with a Bachelor of Science (2004) and from UBC with a Master of Occupational Therapy (2007). Courtney has practiced as a paediatric occupational therapist in community-based early intervention services as well as in clinical and school settings in private practice. Courtney has furthered her education in the area of sensory integration, anxiety, and attachment, and applies this knowledge towards its impact on sleep and other activities of daily living of children. Courtney believes that working with children and their families is about building a partnership, and goals should be meaningful and functional to the whole family.

Jennifer Garden is mom of tween twins. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Kinetics (1999), the University of Western Ontario with masters of Clinical Science in Occupational Therapy (2001), and UBC with a Masters of Science (2009). Jennifer has over a dozen years experience working as an occupational therapist with children. She founded Sleepdreams after realizing the need for research-based health care professionals specializing in sleep.
In 2008 North Shore Occupational Therapy Inc. (NSOT) realized a need for research based paediatric health care professionals in sleep. A need for every day families and parents like you. NSOT Founder Jennifer Garden became part of the Children’s SunnyHill / UBC sleep research team, conducted her own clinical research, and we became Sleepdreams®.

Jen Gellis is mom to three young children. She graduated from UBC as an Occupational Therapist in 2000 and completed her Master of Applied Arts in Design at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2009. Her professional experience includes school-based therapy, private practice therapy, positioning, mobility, feeding, and swallowing. She has also furthered her education in the areas of sensory integration, anxiety and attachment, maternal wellness, and breastfeeding support. Jen believes in creating meaningful and realistic goals in partnership with families. She values being able to support families of babies and young children through their early years.
